After dental school, Dr. Lam pursued advanced training through two esteemed surgical internships in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Lam’s commitment to excellence is underscored by his recognition as a Fellow by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, highlighting his adherence to the highest standards in education, training, surgical skill, and ethics. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and advocacy in dental implantology. Recently, he achieved a significant milestone by earning a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a prestigious distinction awarded to only 6% of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, Dr. Lam has co-authored several journal articles on restorative dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has also served as an Implant Regional Doctor Mentor for Heartland Dental.
